Atisolve builds custom software, mobile applications and web platforms for businesses in Mumbai. We work remotely on Indian business hours, which means direct contact with the developers on your project rather than a relationship mediated entirely through account management.
This page covers what we build, how a remote engagement runs day to day, and what to verify about any development partner before money changes hands. Contact details are at the bottom if you would rather just talk.
Mumbai's economy is concentrated in financial services, insurance, capital markets, media, advertising, pharmaceuticals and trade. What most of those sectors share is that their software is not merely operational — it is subject to somebody else's scrutiny. A regulator, an auditor, a compliance function or a listed parent company will eventually ask how a number was produced.
That changes what "finished" means. A system that works correctly but cannot show its working is incomplete in this context. Who changed that record, when, and on whose authority? Can the figure in the report be traced back to its source? If the answer involves someone opening a database, the system is not ready for a regulated environment no matter how well it performs.
We build for that expectation where the sector demands it: audit trails on consequential actions, role-based access that reflects real approval hierarchies, and reporting that reconciles rather than merely displays. This is not free — it adds meaningfully to the build — so we discuss it explicitly at scoping rather than presenting it as an unavoidable cost or, worse, discovering the requirement after launch.
Where a business genuinely does not carry those obligations, we do not impose them. A media production company tracking freelance schedules does not need the controls a broking firm does, and pretending otherwise inflates the bill for nothing.
Internal platforms built around your actual workflow — approvals, case handling, client onboarding, reconciliation — with the access controls and audit trails the environment requires.
Secure portals where clients, investors or partners view statements, upload documents and track requests, reducing the email volume your team currently absorbs.
Android and iOS apps with the backend they run on, built as a single system. Field teams, customer apps and internal tools, including offline behaviour where connectivity is unreliable.
Reporting that traces back to source data rather than being assembled by hand each month, with the reconciliation logic visible instead of buried in a spreadsheet nobody else understands.
Joining core systems, payment gateways, KYC providers, market data feeds and accounting software so figures are captured once and agree across systems.
Replacing systems that still function but have become slow and expensive to change, typically in stages so operations continue while the new system takes over area by area.
Alongside build work we offer SEO, generative engine optimisation, digital marketing, UI/UX design and ongoing maintenance.
For Mumbai clients, remote working carries a practical benefit beyond cost: nobody spends two hours a day in transit to attend a meeting that could have been a call. We work your hours, answer during your day, and travel when a meeting genuinely needs to happen in a room.
Structured conversations about the problem, the process around it and the obligations attached to it, before anyone produces a number. Two or three sessions typically, unpaid.
A written specification of what will be built, sequenced and priced, with assumptions stated. Compliance and audit requirements are itemised separately so you can see exactly what they cost.
Usable software every two weeks. The earliest version is deliberately narrow — real usage reshapes requirements far more reliably than a specification document does.
A demonstration each increment, and priorities for the next agreed from what you have just seen. Scope changes are priced and scheduled openly rather than silently absorbed.
Deployment, data migration, user training and a period of intensive monitoring. We plan for the fact that live users encounter what testing does not.
An ongoing retainer or a clean, documented handover to your own team. We do not make the second option deliberately unattractive.
A shared channel with the developers on it — Slack, Teams or WhatsApp — rather than a ticket queue. Written weekly summaries go out whether the week went well or badly. A partner who communicates only when there is good news is teaching you to interpret silence as trouble, and they will usually be right.
Broking, wealth management, lending and advisory firms needing client onboarding, portfolio reporting and workflows that hold up to examination.
Brokers and intermediaries handling policy administration, renewals, claims tracking and commission reconciliation across multiple insurers.
Agencies and production houses managing campaigns, freelance rosters, asset libraries and client approvals across concurrent projects.
Field force reporting, distributor management and documentation workflows for companies whose records must withstand inspection.
Freight forwarding, customs documentation and container tracking, where a documentation error is measured in days of demurrage.
Developers and brokerages tracking inventory, bookings, payment schedules and channel partner commissions across projects.
Two practical realities shape projects in this city more than anywhere else we work. The first is commuting. A meeting that requires four senior people to travel across Mumbai costs the business a substantial part of a day, which in practice means such meetings get scheduled rarely and then run long and unfocused. We structure engagements to need very few of them: short, frequent video reviews instead of infrequent marathon sessions, and written decisions circulated afterwards so nobody has to attend simply to stay informed.
The second is that decision-making in Mumbai firms is often genuinely distributed — a business head wants the feature, a compliance officer must approve it, and a technology function owns the platform it will sit on. Projects stall when a development partner takes a brief from one of those three and assumes the others will agree. We ask early who has to sign off on what, and we would rather have an awkward conversation about approval chains in week one than discover in month four that a system nobody objected to is one nobody will actually authorise.
If your compliance function requires a vendor with formal certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, we do not currently hold them and you should filter on that early rather than late. If you need thirty people starting next quarter, a large services firm is better structured for it. If you need daily physical presence, hire locally.
We fit well when the problem matters, the scope is real but bounded, and you want to deal directly with the people building it.
We quote per project rather than publishing rates, because superficially similar scopes diverge sharply once integrations, data quality and approval chains are accounted for. Our estimates show their assumptions so you can challenge the reasoning rather than just the total.

No. We are remote-first and serve clients across India, and we prefer to say so directly rather than imply a local presence. We work Indian business hours and travel to Mumbai where a meeting genuinely needs to be face to face. If your procurement process requires a local registered office, we will not qualify and it is better to know that at the outset.
It depends which ones, and the honest answer needs specifics. We routinely build audit logging, role-based access, data encryption and retention controls into systems that need them. What we do not currently hold are formal certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2. If your compliance team requires a certified vendor, that is a genuine blocker and you should screen for it before we spend time on scoping.
There is no useful single figure, and a firm quoting one before understanding your requirements is guessing. Audit and compliance requirements in particular can add substantially to a build. We give written estimates that itemise these separately, so you can see what the regulatory portion costs and make an informed decision about it.
You do, in full, written into the contract — source, deployment configuration and documentation. Where possible we deploy into your own cloud account so the infrastructure is yours too. You should always be able to move to another team without our cooperation.
Usually, though it depends on what the system exposes. Modern platforms with documented APIs are straightforward. Older systems sometimes require working through database views, file exchanges or scheduled exports, which is slower and more fragile. We establish what is actually available during discovery rather than assuming an integration is possible and discovering otherwise mid-build.
We work against anonymised or synthetic data wherever it is practical, which is more often than people expect. Where real data is genuinely necessary for testing, we agree in writing beforehand who has access, where it is stored and when it is destroyed. If your policy prohibits production data leaving your environment entirely, we can work within that, though it adds time and we would rather flag that at scoping than at the end.
They almost always do, particularly when a regulatory expectation shifts mid-project. We handle changes by pricing and scheduling them openly rather than absorbing them until the timeline moves without explanation. Phased engagements handle this more gracefully than fixed-scope ones, which is worth weighing when you choose the model.
Yes, routinely, usually before any detailed discussion. If the subject matter is commercially sensitive, raise it first and we will complete the paperwork before you share anything.
Primarily JavaScript and TypeScript — React and Next.js for interfaces, Node.js for services — with PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data and AWS for infrastructure. React Native for mobile, native where warranted. If your own team will maintain the system and works in a different stack, we would discuss building in theirs instead; a system your people cannot maintain is a liability regardless of how well it was written.
Call +91 91082 92463 or email atisolve@gmail.com describing the problem. We will suggest a discovery conversation, free and without obligation. If we are not the right fit — and with regulated environments that is sometimes the case — we will say so directly.
