Atisolve builds custom software, mobile applications and web platforms for businesses in Kochi. We work remotely on Indian business hours, which means direct access to the developers on your project rather than a relationship mediated through account management.
Below is what we build, how a remote engagement runs, and what to check about any development partner before committing budget. Contact details are at the end.
Kerala has unusually high literacy and smartphone adoption, and a large population with close ties to family working in the Gulf, Europe and North America. The practical consequence for anyone building software here is that your users have used good software. They have banking apps from the UAE, booking systems from abroad, and relatives who will tell them when something is clumsy.
That raises the floor. A system that would pass without comment elsewhere gets abandoned here if it demands too many taps, loses what someone typed, or fails to explain an error. This is not a matter of visual polish — it is that people who have experienced software that respects their time will not persist with software that does not.
It also affects customer-facing work directly. Kochi businesses selling to Malayali customers abroad are competing against whatever those customers use locally, and "good enough for India" is not a standard they will recognise. If your portal is slower and more confusing than the one their bank in Dubai gives them, they will notice and say so.
We treat that as a useful constraint rather than a burden. It means design and usability testing are part of the build rather than optional extras, and it means we would rather ship a smaller system that works well than a larger one people tolerate.
Shipment tracking, customs and buyer documentation, container movement and cost reconciliation for exporters and freight forwarders, where a paperwork error is measured in days of demurrage.
Internal systems shaped around your operation — orders, procurement, approvals, scheduling and the reporting built on top of them.
Platforms where customers, agents or overseas buyers place orders, view documents and track status themselves rather than emailing your team.
Android and iOS apps with their backend, built as one system, including sensible behaviour for users on international connections and roaming.
Patient records, appointments, billing and report delivery across multi-location clinics, hospitals and diagnostic chains.
Connecting ERP, accounting, payment gateways, shipping lines and logistics partners so information is captured once and reconciles everywhere.
We also offer SEO, generative engine optimisation, digital marketing, UI/UX design and continuing maintenance.
Conversations about the problem and the process around it before any number exists. For operational systems this includes seeing the work being done. Two or three sessions, unpaid.
A written breakdown of what gets built, sequenced and priced, with assumptions and exclusions stated openly rather than left to be discovered.
Screens reviewed by people who will actually use them before the build proceeds. Given how quickly your users will judge a clumsy interface, this is cheaper done early than corrected later.
Working software every two weeks, starting with the most painful area. Getting something real in front of people early changes what they ask for.
Deployment, data migration, training and a period of close monitoring, because live users encounter what testing does not.
A maintenance retainer or a documented handover to your own team, without the handover being priced punitively.
A shared Slack, Teams or WhatsApp channel with the developers on it rather than a ticket queue, and written weekly summaries whether the news is good or not. Same time zone, so questions raised in the morning are resolved the same day.
A great many Kochi businesses have customers in the Gulf, and some in Europe and North America. That has practical consequences for how software is built, and they are easy to get wrong.
Anything showing a date and time needs to be unambiguous about which zone it refers to — a delivery slot that means one thing in Kochi and another in Sharjah generates disputes rather than orders. Notifications sent on Indian office hours arrive at inconvenient times elsewhere. Working weeks differ: a Friday deadline does not mean the same thing to a customer in the Gulf as it does to you. And payment methods that are obvious to an Indian customer may not be available to an overseas one.
None of this is difficult, but all of it has to be decided at design time. Retrofitting time-zone awareness into a system that assumed everyone is in India is expensive and error-prone, so we ask early where your customers actually are.
Seafood, spices and commodity exporters managing procurement, grading, cold chain, buyer specifications and documentation that must be exact.
Forwarders and transport operators tracking containers, customs documentation and cost recovery across shipments.
Hospitals, clinics and diagnostic chains joining up records, appointments, billing and report delivery across locations.
Hotels, houseboat and tour operators managing availability, seasonal rates, agent allocations and payment tracking.
Product companies needing a first version built quickly, or an internal tool their core engineering team cannot be spared for.
Multi-outlet retail and distribution operations needing stock visibility and sales reporting available before month end.
For Kochi's seafood, spice and produce exporters, a substantial part of what software has to track is not commercial but physical. A consignment has a temperature history, a shelf life, a grade that can change between procurement and dispatch, and a buyer specification it either meets or does not. Getting the paperwork right is necessary and not sufficient — the goods have to actually arrive in the condition claimed.
The systems that help most here are the ones that connect procurement, grading, storage and dispatch into one record, so a rejected consignment can be traced back to the batch, the supplier and the day rather than argued about. Where you already have temperature logging equipment, pulling those readings in automatically is far better than transcribing them, because a manual reading entered from memory at the end of a shift is exactly the record a buyer will dispute.
We should be clear about the boundary: we do not supply or install monitoring hardware, and where sensors are involved you will need a specialist for that side. What we build is the layer above — capturing, reconciling and reporting on what those systems record, in a form your buyers and auditors will accept.
If you need thirty developers next quarter, a larger firm suits better. If you need daily physical presence in your office, hire locally — our model will frustrate you rather than serve you. We also do not supply or install monitoring hardware, so cold chain sensor work needs a specialist alongside us. And if a well-configured off-the-shelf product would serve you at a fraction of the cost, we will say so rather than build around it, even though that means losing the work.
We quote per project rather than publishing rates. Estimates state their assumptions and exclusions so you can compare them fairly against anything else.

No. We are a remote-first team serving clients across India and would rather say so than imply a local presence we do not have. We work Indian business hours and travel where a meeting genuinely needs to be in person. If a local office is a firm requirement, we are not the right fit.
Not natively, and it is better to be direct about that than to let it surface awkwardly later. Project communication runs in English. Where a system's users work in Malayalam we build for it and rely on your team to review the wording — which is better practice regardless, since your staff know the terminology your business actually uses better than any external translator.
It adds specific requirements rather than general difficulty, and they need deciding at design time. Times and dates must state which zone they refer to, notification timing should suit the recipient rather than your office, working weeks differ, and payment options need to be available where your customers actually are. Retrofitting this later is expensive, so we ask about it during discovery.
There is no useful single figure, and a firm quoting one before understanding your requirements is guessing. Our estimates itemise assumptions and exclusions so you can see what is driving the number and compare it honestly against other quotes.
You do, in full, written into the contract — source code, deployment configuration and documentation. Wherever possible we deploy into your own cloud account so the infrastructure is yours as well.
Usually, though what is possible depends on what each system exposes. Modern platforms with documented APIs are straightforward; older ones may need file exchanges or scheduled exports, which is slower and more fragile. Shipping line and port systems vary considerably. We establish what is genuinely available during discovery rather than assuming and finding out mid-build.
By treating design and usability testing as part of the build rather than a finishing touch. Screens get reviewed by people who will actually use them before we build behind them, and we would rather deliver a smaller system that works well than a larger one people merely tolerate. It is also worth saying that if visual design is the primary deliverable, a specialist studio may serve you better than we would.
They usually do. We price and schedule changes openly rather than absorbing them until the timeline moves without explanation. Phased engagements handle this more comfortably than fixed-scope ones, which is worth weighing when you choose the model.
Yes, routinely and usually before the first detailed conversation. If your buyer relationships or pricing are sensitive, raise it at the outset.
Call +91 91082 92463 or email atisolve@gmail.com with a description of the problem. We will propose a free discovery conversation with no obligation, and if we are not the right partner we will say so and point you elsewhere where we can.
Whether it’s an app, website, or platform—your idea deserves expert execution. Let us help you build it from the ground up with clarity, care, and speed.
